Since nov 3, we found that feedburner refused to retrieve a yahoo pipe feed with the error “An error occurred connecting to the URL: Error getting URL: 999 – Unknown”… We were not the only one to get the same problem. Seems like yahoo pipes has a rate limiter. They added an exceptions for feedburner. Workaround is to proxy the pipe on your own server and feedburnerize this feed. You make believe that pipe is consumed by your server instead of directly feedburner.
It is now history. We re-plug the planets on feedburner feeds.
